The Eden Project
Plants are the life support system of our planet - the fabric of the stage on which we, and all living things, act out our lives. They are the most vital ingredients of that which we call the environment. In a vast china clay pit in Cornwall, the Eden Project is creating an organic living theatre to tell the stories of plants and people.

Cornwall abounds in disused tin mines. Most are in ruins because they were stripped of anything valuable when the mine closed. Today there are no active mines in Cornwall.
